It will be a seasonal service and a more sustainable way for skiers to get to the slopes.
European Sleeper announced on that the service will launch on 5 February 2025 and operate twice a week during February and March.
The full journey time will be 20 hours with the train departing Brussels at 17:00 with it’s final stop of the evening in Cologne at 23:00 before arriving into Munich at 07:00 the next day and making its way to Venice for 14:00.
“This marks a new important milestone for European Sleeper and the convenience of night travel across Europe more sustainably,” says Chris Engelsman, co-founder of European Sleeper.
The company said in a press release that prices have not been announced yet but bookings will begin in September.
Last year it launched the first night train between Brussels and Berlin in 10 years.

Maak een speelgroep een wereldwijd gegeven
Ik begrijp dat het idee van een speelgroep niet wereldwijd gebruikelijk is; het is een “Commonwealth”-ding, maar ik zou het zeker aanraden voor anderen die in een nieuw land wonen. Je bouwt als ouder en kind een netwerk op. In eerste instantie dacht ik dat het vooral belangrijk was voor de taal, maar het creëert ook een groep mensen die elkaar begrijpen omdat ze dezelfde ervaringen delen.
In Australie hebben we het in eerste instantie opgezet op vrijwillige basis. Er is een leidster die het overziet en organiseert. Er is iemand die de liedjes doet en er is iemand die de knutsel organiseert en de koffie voor de ouders met de snack voor ouder en kind. Natuurlijk kan het ook anders door bijvoorbeeld sport te doen ipv de knutsel etc.
